I loved the way students get a chance to lead other students and conduct a lovely book club. However the sessions with members should happen more often, as they can forget a lot. Therefore instead on once in a fortnight, we can keep it like once in a week and the training sessions can happen every Sunday or any other day.

Few things that worked well in the book club for me were how our teachers were open for taking our opinions and suggestions as well to plan a better session for the student session and how they guided us through it. Also how during the student sessions, I was able to interact with the members and make them engage with the activities that we had planned.

I myself enjoying reading a lot and being able to guide the student members and take them on a journey filled with reading different kind of stories was an experience being a Literati Student leader allowed me to have.

I would say my top 2 memories are my first session for the leader training and my first session with the members. Both of them were a similar yet completely new experience for me and reflecting back to them now, I can see how I have improved a lot and learnt so many things from then.

I have learnt quite a few things from these training sessions, one of them being how to be a good leader, not just for the student members but in any case scenario. Not only that but I have gained some more confidence than before with public speaking and even a few things from the Student Literati leaders.

I think being able to discuss how our sessions with the students went with the teachers and other leaders as well would be great because we'll be able to discuss how our next session can go better. Having a small session with leaders of the other group will allow us and them to learn something from the other. Conducting a small, one hour session for the same after the student session is good idea because there's a chance we ourselves might forget what happened or don't remember the details after a week of the session.
