b. The top two elements of art I used are form and shape.

c. I used these elements by focusing on the shapes that make up my creature's body, organic and inorganic, to create a proper body and limbs.

d. The two principals of designs I used are balance and contrast/variety.

e. I used these elements through keeping the body symmetrical and by using different colors and textures of fabric for different limbs like the fins and the eye.

f. A new beneficial technique I found was drawing and cutting out the pieces for the creature on paper, then pinning and cutting them out on the needed material (the fabric).

g. The soft skill that helped me the most throughout this class would be time management. Being able to plan out what stages of a project needed to get done each day definitely helped me to keep pace with the assignments.

h. My favorite project was the haiku alliteration because it focused a lot on hand drawing and drawing techniques like the elements of art and principals of design. I found it fun to use so many tools in a piece and to go through multiple stages before settling on the final piece.

Form and Color were the top two Elements of Art that were used.

Color was used to give the figure better dimension.

Form was used to give the figure an alive feel.

Contrast and Movement were the top two Principles of design used.

The contrast gave the character depth and movement captured in the eyes gave A Cat a mood or shows his emotion of feeling mid.

The stapling as an alternative to sewing helped the project progress.

Practicing being patient helped with completing my favorite project, the 3D character.

My top two principles of design are pattern and balance. I utilized the pattern of the fabric to emphasize it's design and the balance of the eyes, mouth, and face to make the creature proportional to each other. A new technique I used that I thought was beneficial was being able to sew. Some soft skills that helped me throughout this quarter was problem solving and communication. An example of this was when I asked my classmates and Mr. Thilges for help when needed. My favorite project this quarter was the Haiku Alliteration Idiom Illustration because I was able to have a very personal connection to the process of creating the haiku and final poster.

The top two Elements of Art utilized in my 3D Character are form and color, since I had to think in 3D to create patterns that would eventually make the forms of Bob, and because I picked colors that emphasize the eye and enhance Bob's features.

The top two Principles of Design utilized in my 3D Character are contrast, since I used very different colors, and balance, because Bob is more or less symmetrical.

I think the most beneficial skill I have learned was invisible stitches.

Time management really helped me in this class, especially because it is something I usually struggle with, so it was great for me to learn to use my time better.

My favorite project was probably the 3D creature because even though it took me a lot of time I am really happy that I learned how to hand sew.

c. Texture is self explanatory, and for shape there's a lot of circles going on, then a few triangles, so I'd say its pretty shape-y

d. Emphasis and proportion

e. I have emphasis on the eyes, and I'd say proportion because of how the eyes on each side balance each other out.

f. One hole button sewing, I hadn't known how to do those ones yet.

g. only just now finding out soft skills mean skills to work with others and stuff, so a positive attitude and self-management.

h. My favorite has to be this one and the intuitive gross motor line drawing, because I love plushies and I also love just making lines and seeing where it takes me.
