The median is the middle number in a set of numbers

Normally, if there is an odd amount of numbers in the set, the median is much more easier to find.

Ex. <strike>12, 11,</strike> 5, <strike>6, 8</strike>

<strike>

</strike>If there is an even set of numbers, you would need to subtract the two middle numbers and divide it by 2.

The mean of a set of numbers is their average. In order to find the mean of a set, you need to add all of the numbers in the set together, then divide the total by how many numbers you have in the set.

Ex. 1 + 3 + 4 + 2 + 15 + 10 + 4 + 5 + 1 = 45

45/9 = 5
