I also watched the movie but I liked the book better. I like it in general because it makes me feel like if you're different in some way like in the book when August first started going to school he was bullied and stared at talked about behind his back. but in the end a lot of people were his friend and people weren't scared or disgusted if they touched him by accident or something like that. So that book made me feel like if you're not like anyone else and if you are starting a new school in the beginning people will treat you differently but in the end people will be your friend and they will be used to you.

    He gets turned into the shadow monarch which there are 8 other monarchs since he killed one.
