I graduated from University of Phoenix in 2022 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I was raised locally and still currently live in the area. I am a mother so I feel I can understand on a parental level when concerns arise. This will be my first year and I am very excited to get to know everyone in my classroom! Have an area that the main purpose is for your child to write. Provide open ended prompts and materials to practice writing. You can include white board, dry erase markers, pencils, crayons, and markers etc. 

Read Books-
Read new and old books. Reread books that interest and comfort your child. This helps them recognize print, expands their knowledge and imagination. Choose new books that will help expand their vocabulary.

Meal Prep Math-
If your child enjoys helping out in the kitchen connect their experience to simple math. Measuring, counting, comparing and recognizing familiar shapes. As your child understands the basic concept, try to challenge them with more details.

It is important to me that I met this environment to help all my students reach their full protentional. I will include hands on learning, team and individual activities/assignments. I ask my students for their input on their interest and try to mingle them with the content to help keep them engaged. 

 I will assist my students in learning to love themselves and accept others differences. I will encourage them to express themselves freely and provide a no judgement environment. My teaching methods are interchangeable based on what my student needs and I will make the content relevant to their daily lives. 
  
  I strive to have an inclusive classroom and teach my students to embrace our individualities. I will also learn and teach my children about different cultures and their traditions. If my students' families are open to sharing their culture in the classroom I will not be opposed to celebrating our differences.
