The first part that relates is the jungle as Tamaya , Chad and Marshall went into the woods and then was  the fuzzy mud found by Tamaya.
The second part is when Tamaya marked her way back to school,when she was searching for Chad in the woods.She marked her way back because of a tree with wooden planks stuck to its bark.After Tamaya found Chad she came to know that those were stuck by him. Whenever he felt like he would visit the wood ,climb up trees and try to find the tallest tree (the view was mesmerizing).

There was mud also which was in the forest the stones were there in the path when Tamaya went to find chad she must have encountered such kinds of bushes and stones since she went into a forest. Most of the story took place in the forest to the time when Marshall and Tamaya went in the forest to find a shortcut to the time when Marshall found Tamaya in the fuzzy mud and chad who was trying to help her come out of it.

Firstly, the open hand represents the hand with which Tamaya threw the fuzzy mud on Chad. Secondly, the fist represents the 'valor' Tamaya showed in order to save her friend Marshall from Chad.
