You took follow me leader approach. Which does have some advantages. Maybe consider going on different lines to mix up the direction of travel. You did achieve objective of getting them moving and warm

it was good yeah, let us get on with it so we could correct ourselves to see if we knew how to do the skill

Tried a different style, im assuming to strip back the skill to see where people were going wrong

It was good clear instruction, game like movements, got us moving wasn’t standing around so that was good. Maybe limit your time on each part, jump into more game based to get us using the skills learnt

For the session consider the STEP approach. As you can get individuals moving further and if it’s increased in size then you can focus on players passing.

Competitive elements are good but be cautious with forfeits as these can either be positive or have a real negative impact of the session.

Ensure you focus on developing aims and objectives for the session

A teamwork drill, was always on your feet and very engaging. Used a small space which was hard but good as would help on a full sided football pitch

The opening preparation was clear to the pair you talked too. However you had 4 participants standing around unsure what they were doing. Ensure everyone is actively participating and do the demonstration to all to save you time
