The existence of the library began in ancient times called Ancient Mesopotamia, which is about 5000 years ago. At the time, books in the libraries were only written by ordinary people who desired to
write. All of the information they wrote at the time was on papyrus, it is a type of leaf.

All of their books are kept in the ancient library, which houses collections of literature, chronicles, and histories
from the towns and nations where they were located. Books are now written on paper made from wood fibers, and book authors at that time are no longer ordinary people, but knowledgeable people who conduct extensive research on a subject. And all of these reading materials are placed in a library that has its own system to manage the reading materials.

Like they did thousands of years ago, libraries continue to store collections of printed materials like journals, books, magazines, and newspapers. Also, there is audio-visual
material such as videotapes, DVDs, microforms, and others. Phonograph records, maps, and microfilms are also stored by the library for users to use. As a whole, the library provides various types of information resources to help users find the information they desire.

The library also provides a comfortable and quiet place to study for users to stay focused while doing their work. Convenient spaces are required as they will help to enhance the quality of the work, such as reading, revision, studying, or even research activities.

At the same time, the library provides many benefits to users. First, it is vivid that libraries provide reliable materials, which are of high quality. The Library provides quality reference material by filtering the content of the material to ensure that the material used by users is safe and accurate. The library is also a place to help users solve certain problems. Students who have recently learned something new in school, for example, may not have adequate knowledge or reading material to understand it, so the library is a reference point for students to solve their learning-related problems.

Other than that, libraries help increase literacy in the community because the library is open to provide space for
users to find knowledge in it, and it can increase the literacy rate and cultivate a culture of reading among students or the community. In addition, the preservation of knowledge whether it is history or the modern era happens in the library. This is beneficial for society, especially the researchers. History materials are needed in their research so it is undeniable benefits them.

With the passage of time, when the world’s technology is becoming increasingly advanced, libraries are being upgraded to digital libraries where all the printed materials in the library have been digitized by the library so that the material can be read and used by users using electronic
devices. This can provide benefits to users. For example, users no longer need to walk far to the library. Instead, they can use the library far away from home by using a laptop or mobile phone. This is one of the advantages that society has today. Compared to the situation of seeking information from the library in the past, it is very different.

Furthermore, looking at a glance at physical libraries in this world, there are several types of libraries that have their own roles and functions. Firstly, there are public libraries. The public library is one that was developed and established by the government. The existence of it is to serve the public, where ordinary people such as the folk can come in and out of the library to use the services provided. Secondly, is the academic library. The academic library is usually located inside the institution buildings. For example, primary school, secondary school, boarding school, and universities. Materials in this library are accessible for the students and those who already registered as a member of the library. Last but not least, the uncommon library which named a special library. To illustrate, one of the special libraries is the
agricultural research library. The special library usually stores, keep and preserve material according to the particular subject. Every material collected will be stored there for a better organization.

To summarize, owing to the facts stated above, the library is one of the basic things that is much needed for society. Playing a big and important role, people should have taken the advantage to spend their day even once in a lifetime there. There is so much knowledge delivered by the library. It is such a waste of library buildings being abandoned by the folk.

This includes identifying, classifying, storing, securing, retrieving, tracking, and destroying or permanently preserving records.

A record center is willful to serve as a central repository in which an organization can store and manage all of its records such as legal or financial documents. A record center bears the entire records management process and procedure, from records collection by way of records management to record disposition. The record center provides safe and environmentally controlled security for inactive records for as long as retentiveness is required.

This place is the field where it has been directed to be responsible for the efficient and systematic controls including the procedures for capturing and keeping grounds of and information about concern activities and minutes in a signifier of records. This is because records need to be managed in a meaningful manner and neatly, so they can be accessed and used probably in a lecture or tutorial class.

There are a bunch of benefits of using a record center. The plan of actions are established to ensure that when any record is needed, it should be easily located, retrieved, used and last but not least, safely returned to the storage in charge. Using a record center provides orderly really good arrangement and control of the records. Besides, it engages procedures that ensure prompt and efficient handling of records. A record center also functioned as a place where it protects confidential records from unwarranted access and ensures that records are destroyed only with appropriate authorization.

Based on the identified phases to the records life cycle, the first being is the ‘Creation’ which entails the part when a record is created or being received. The next step in the cycle is called ‘Active Record’ where these records are needed frequently. These records are retrieved at least once each month or as customarily as weekly, so these types of records are on readily accessible databases. The third part of the cycle is ‘Semi-Active’ also known as ‘Inactive Records’ where records are not needed for day-to-day business but organizations need to keep those records for referrals for legal reasons probably. Semi-active records are often stored at a lower cost in any record center.

Meanwhile, the last part is in the ‘Final Disposition’ which is the action that takes place when a record has no more value to an organization. This phase can include transferring the records to the custody of an external body.
Firmly to say, records are information assets that can hold great value for any organization. Library, archive, records center, art gallery, and museums are the four types of information agencies. This type of information agency serves a specific purpose mostly in the digital age. As an example here is the archive.  The English word archive came from Latin words which are “arch” or “archvum”. The Greek term originally referred to the home or dwelling of the Archon, a ruler or chief magistrate, where important official state documents were filed and interpreted. However, the archive meaning has since broadened to include concepts such as "town hall" and "public records."
An archive is also known as a collection of historical records or the physical location where the records are kept for a variety of reasons, such as permanent or long-term preservation. It is also called a location where people can go and get firsthand information, data, and also evidence from various primary sources. It contains a large collection of original source documents that have accumulated over a lifetime for an individual or organization. Moreover, they are also being kept in order to demonstrate the function of that person or the organization itself.
The main purpose of the archive is to secure the data and to boost the security of the information. The archive is a repository for public records or other historic documents. The archive also provides various types of records which include the current records, semi-current records, and non-current records. All the data is also well-organized, making it easier to locate the appropriate documents when they are required.
Archives are also the documentary byproducts of human activity that are kept for their long-term value. They are current records created by individuals and organizations as they go about their daily activities, and thus provide a direct window into past events. They can be in a variety of formats, such as written, photographic, moving image, sound, digital, and also analog.
In addition, the archive also has some features where it is only stored if it is thought to have long-term historical value. For example, the archives keep historical documents because they are needed in the long run to be the evidence and reference sources for future generations. Also, they were not intentionally created as historical records only. Their strength is that they are contemporary records that must be interpreted based on who created the document and why. The documents also do not have to be 'old' to be archived.
To summarise, archives are critical to the advancement of society and the success of researchers. They are a repository and play the most important role in document preservation. Art is a masterpiece by an artist or even a regular human being. Art is everywhere, such as across the street, a vintage shop, kitchen, and anyone's house. However, the appropriate location for art to be is the art gallery. An art gallery is a place where works of art are displayed. Examples of works of art are paintings, sculptures, drawings, textiles, and photographs. This place is an intersection for art lovers and not a shop. During the art exhibitions, people will be able to see the artworks by the masters. They are free to dream, feel and dive deep into the meaning of each art.

Furthermore, there are several types of art galleries. For instance, there are brand galleries, traditional, commercial, and shop galleries. Every gallery brings a different meaning and purpose. Firstly, the brand galleries look after the well-known artists at the time. They benefit from connections with the most prestigious collectors, museum organizations, and impactful art historians. Moreover, they participate in the best art fairs and are able to support their artists' markets in a variety of settings. In the art markets, they are the ones who set the law and it was the reason they are called Megas.

Secondly, traditional galleries organizations recognize every level of an artist, such as a semi-level artist. The organization shows its supports by implementing promotional strategies after identifying whether the artist has a good potential for success in the particular industry. Similarly, brand galleries organizations publicize them to the various art world players because of the strong relationships they have with the collectors and located near brand galleries traditional galleries also participates in several arts fair.

Moving onto another type, the commercial galleries act as "startups" for emerging artists who have yet to establish themselves in the market and will eventually become part of a traditional gallery. Commercial galleries primarily operate in the area but maintain a good web presence. They have a stock room where they sell art on consignee instantly from the artist. Thus many commercial galleries will have one or two employees. Commercial galleries seem to be at the commercial climax of the art world. The galleries are selling the most art to art galleries and collections.

Last but not least, the shop galleries are venues that work with young artists who, if necessary, rent the gallery to display off their project.  The shop gallery is a  commercial gallery spin-off with profits earned by the retail market of various types of work by artists. Frame shops, galleries with many in-house artists, and spaces that sell massive production runs of artwork such as prints and jewelry are examples of shop galleries. Apart from other types of galleries, this gallery enables people to buy items according to their interests.

According to the history of art, the first art gallery is Kustmuseum Basel from Amerbach-Cabinet, the city of Basel. The gallery first opened publicly in 1671. Next, the first most visited art gallery, with over 9 million visitors per year, is the Louvre Museum in Paris. It is housed in the Louvre Palace and situated on the right bank of the Seine. Moreover, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is the second most visited art gallery. It is the largest in the United States and the third-largest in the world. It was founded in 1870 and opened for the public on February 20, 1872.

As much as its function, art galleries benefit society in many ways. Firstly, it allows people to shift their viewpoint and put themselves in the artist's point of view. Next, people can delve deep into people's mindsets in timeframes and nations, including their faith, ethics, and cultures. Because art galleries preserve humanity's legacy and enrich the lives of hundreds of people who visit, they help the world become a more civilized place for upcoming generations.

To sum up, the existence of an art gallery brings color to everyone. Other than it benefits the society based on its role, it can be seen that art galleries help the artist, especially the youngers to enhance their skills and build their name internationally.

After being modernized and turned into a Library Learning Centre in 2010. TU Delft Library became a place were for study, research, and the exchange of knowledge with interesting spaces, places to relax, and stimulating activities.

Moreover, the origin of structure has previously received a present for the Millennium founded by Corus Construction in 2000 and also the National Steel Construction Prize in 1998 established by Dutch Steel Building Institute. Hence, the design of such an enormous institution took two years, and another two years were spent on the project’s realization.

Other than that, the TU Delft Library might also be a novel project that embodies modern pragmatism, scale, and multitasking functionality. It combines multiple elements in one single concept that reflects the spirit of contemporary architecture within the shapes and materials of the building.

The cold storage of this building is created in groundwater for keeps the building nice and cool or warm, whichever the need. This technology is energy-saving. In addition, this building is energy efficient because the roof is covered with grass.

The grass roof has an insulating effect and reduces large changes in temperature. Assuming that, the plant retains the rainwater and slow condensation of this water makes natural cooling in summer. Excellent noise reduction was also provided. For their book arrangement were displayed on a large book wall, extending from the ground level up to the fourth floor.

While the location of books, journals, and computers was coordinated with the path of light. And then, symbol technology for this building is the grass lifted up at one corner and supported by columns. The central hall created by the effect has glass facades and provides room for round and introvert study spaces as symbolizing technology.

This archive was founded on March 11, 1891, as the Imperial Record Department in Calcutta, the capital of British India that located in Delhi at the intersection of Janpath and Rajpath.

It attracts scholars from all over the world and it prepares reference media, handbooks, calendars, and press lists. Not only that, it has a large library with 1,15000 books where it holds 45 lakh files, 25,000 rare manuscripts, over 1 lakh maps, and also 1.3 lakh Mughal documents. 

The archive of India is also known as Asia’s largest archive because of its authentic evidence pertaining to the political, social, economic, cultural, and scientific lives of the people in India. 

The history of this archive also began when Sandeman, the Civil Auditor, stressed the importance of relieving office congestion by destroying routine papers and transferring all valuable records to a "Grand Central Archive." Through his actions on this issue, in 1911, the capital was moved from Calcutta to New Delhi. 

And on 1947, the Departmental Journal and the Indian Archives came into existence which contained research papers on the source material of :

  • archival awareness and all other allied aspects of functional archives.

The provisions of the Public Records Rules, 1997 govern access to records at the National Archives of India. In addition to a letter of introduction from their sponsoring University/Institution, Indian researchers must submit a letter of introduction from their sponsoring University/Institution. Foreign nationals must submit a letter of introduction from their diplomatic mission in addition to a letter of introduction from their sponsoring University/Institution. Researchers may apply for permission to consult the records in the prescribed application format, which must be completed at the time of enrollment.


2. LIBRARY
The extensive research-oriented Library offers a variety of services to scholars, trainees, government agencies, and other interested parties. It currently has over 1.9 lakh publications in its possession, including Rare Books, Reports, Parliamentary Papers and Debates, Monographs, Gazettes, Gazetteers, Travelogues, Native Newspapers, Journals, and so on, which serve as a valuable supplement to the information contained in official records. It is also a 'work in progress,' where both references of media and digital data will always be updated on a regular basis.

Abhilekh has more than 2.7 million files from the National Archives of India that are available in the Online Reference Media. And over 71792 digitized records are available for online access through the Digitized Collections

The National Archives of India is the caretaker of the Government of India's records of lasting value. It was founded as the Imperial Record Department on March 11, 1891, in Calcutta (Kolkata) and is the largest archival repository in South Asia. It has a large collection of records, including public records, private papers, oriental records, cartographic records, and microfilms, which are an invaluable source of information for scholars, administrators, and archive user
 
This was one of four museum and archive buildings designed by Edwin Lutyens around the city plan's 'Point B,' the intersection of King's Way and Queen's Way. However, only this one was constructed and it was originally known as the Imperial Record.
 
The archives are designed with a late neo-classical style theme and they are also a fire-resistant or fireproof structure, where they are equipped with an appropriate heat/fire detection and suppression system, which includes the smoke and heat detectors as well as fire extinguishers.
 
The construction of the area, as well as the abundance of reference books, has also made the archive's users' lives easier.
 
All windows and fluorescent lighting in archives are also well-lighted and in UV light filter screens, especially in display areas where archival material is on display.

When in 1682, Louis XIV chose the Palace of Versailles as his household he left Louvre as a place for displaying a royal collection. Introducing the prominent part of The Musee Du Louvre in Paris, The Egyptian Antiquities department. Opened in 1927, this department kept all collections regarding the Egyptian Empire era in the building. There is a collection of the heaviest item required to be displayed on the first floor. Hence, the department occupied the first floor and the second floor of Sully wing with the collections of Egypt. For example, Sphinxes and Sarcophagi. Behind the spectacular departments, there was a man known as the first director, Jean-Francois Champollion. Thanks to his endeavor, the Durand, Salt, and Drovetti collection, successfully brought into the building with the order of King Charles X and the objects from the Napolean Campaigns. Moreover, all of the collection is housed in about 30 rooms of the departments, such as the Crypt of the sphinx, the Vestibule, and The Nile River.

2. THE NEAR EASTERN ANTIQUITIES
The origins of writing can be found in the Department of Near Eastern Antiquities. The first written words of humanity are preserved there. As a result, the public can see the first legal texts and human representations from the Neolithic era. The Near Eastern Antiquities department is divided into three geographical areas. Firstly, it is the Eastern Mediterranean, followed by the Arabic Peninsula and the Black Sea to India. According to the geographical areas, the collections are Mesopotamia, Persia, and the Levant. Same as the previous department mentioned, the Near Eastern Antiquities departments are also divided into several rooms which are 27 rooms in total grouped by territory. To illustrate, there is The Code of Hammurabi, King of Babylon, and the Frieze of the lion passant, originating from Babylon. Both of these collections can be found on the first floor, room number three.

3. THE GREEK, ETRUSCAN, ROMAS ANTIQUITIES
The Department of Greek, Etruscan, and Roman Antiquities houses a collection of archaeological objects that have been promoted to the prestige of works of art. Some of the artworks are actually copies, as the Romans were heavily influenced by Greek Art when designing their interiors. The renovation of the Greek art section was completed in July 2010, with the opening of rooms entirely devoted to classical Greek and Hellenistic art, as well as a permanent place for the Venus de Milo.

4. THE PAINTINGS
The Louvre Museum's Paintings Department is unique in that, with the exception of several items, it only displays works from before 1848. From the 13th to the 19th centuries, European painting movements are covered in this collection. The Louvre Museum first officially opened in 1793, near the time of the French revolution Revolution. The paintings that have been relocated there are mostly displayed in the Grand Gallery or the Quadrangle. The Louvre Museum's collection was specialized for works of art prior to 1848 in the twentieth century. The most recommended collection for the visitors to look at is The Raft Of The Medusa and Alexander The Great in Babylon.

5. THE SCULPTURES
Originally, the Sculptures Department was part of the Antiquities Department. The Sculptures Department is spread across two floors. The French sculptures in the Marly and Puget courtyards can be found on the mezzanine next to the Richelieu wing. The rest of the French sculpture collection can be found on the first floor of the Richelieu wing, which is accessible from the courtyards. Moving forward to the Denon wing's mezzanine, there is a gallery accessible to visually impaired visitors. The casts in the Tactile Gallery allow visitors who are blind or visually impaired to get up close and personal with the sculptures. Satan, Diana the Huntress, and the Dying Slave are three important sculptures in the department.

6. DECORATIVE ARTS
This huge department houses a diverse collection that includes French crown jewels, silverware, bronzes, and furniture from the Middle Ages to the early nineteenth century. The Department of Decorative Arts, which has been present since the museum's inception in 1793, displays objects from the royal showroom. The department is appropriately named. Each item was actually a part of its owner's daily life. However, the craftsmanship with which they were created, thanks to the skillsets of the artisans, elevates them to the status of miniature masterpieces. The Department of Decorative Arts, which is divided into seven sections, occupies the entire second floor of the Richelieu wing and a portion of the Sully wing. Each section describes the tale of a different period in French history.

7. PRINTS AND DRAWINGS
Because the drawings, pastels, miniatures, prints, books, and manuscripts are so fragile, this department is so far behind the scenes. Light and air would rapidly degrade the sensitive works of art. In fact, the Louvre's 7th department is organized more like a library than a gallery. The sensitive works are kept in storage and are only exhibited in the benchmark room by appointment or during temporary exhibitions. The department is divided into three sections which are drawings, engraved plates, and the Edmond de Rothschild print collection.

8. ISLAMIC ART
The Louvre Museum houses the world's largest collection of Islamic works of art. The most recent additions, completed in 2012, included the setup of spaces in which over 3,000 pieces cataloging Islamic art from Spain to India are displayed. In 2003, the Department of Islamic Arts was established. The Visconti courtyard now houses the Department of Islamic Arts. For its scenography, it profited from the work of designers Rudy Ricciotti and Mario Bellino.   • PHONE CHARGING SERVICE- Under the pyramid, there are free phone charging lockers provided.
