An artificial satellite was made by humans.
3. Scientists believe that a big meteor hit the Earth, and pieces of the Earth floated away into space and created the moon.
4. We use satellites to know the weather, use electronic devices, and monitor droughts.
5. What keeps a satellite in orbit is called velocity. Velocity is the speed of the satellite. If the satellite went too fast, it would just fly off into space. If it went too slow, it would crash with the Earth.

1. A satellite is a object that maintains a velocity while in the gravitational pull of our earth and staying in orbit.

2. A natural Satellite is a Object that orbits around the earth but is Not Man Made. A Artificial Satellite is a Satellite that is put in space by Humans to Orbit the earth and perform multiple tasks

3. Scientist believe that the moon was formed when a planet sized object hit the earth and some of the rock from earth was launched into orbit then formed together to make the moon

4. Humans use satellites for many different things we use them to help with electronic devices, Explore Space via Telescope, Weather Monitoring

5. There are two factors to keep something successfully in orbit. The first being To have the gravitational pull of the earth pulling the object toward it. The second being to have a high enough velocity to not crash on the earth.

One is for weather, two is for internet stuff, and there are also more.
The difference between a natural and artificial satellite is that artificial ones are man made.
I think it is awesome how the moon was made. Some chucks of the earth came off when a planet size think hit is, and now that is our moon.
The forces that keep the earth in orbit is the gravitational pull and velocity.

1. A satellite is an object in space that maintain speed while orbiting something.
2. An artificial satellite is made by people while a natural satellite is a space body like a comet or asteroid.
3. A big meteor hit the Earth and broke off some pieces. Then, the pieces of the Earth came together to create the Moon.
4. People use satellites for The weather, Drought monitoring, and the internet and T.V.
5. 2 things help keep an object in successful orbit. The first is the gravitational pull pulling the object towards it. The second factor is the speed. If say the moon went too fast, It would fly off somewhere into space. But if it went too slowly, the Earth's gravity would pull it down to the ground.
