Citizens of North Korea don't have freedom of speech  so they cant say anything they wont and if they do they will be punished. They don't really have any rights. A right that they have is they can vote. North Korea holds fake election to make the citizens think they have a say on who there leader is. But they don't they have them vote and Kim Jong Un rigs it so he wins. He has all power so why would he give it up. If you brake a law three generations of your family will be punished. This means that not only the one that cumited the crime will get punished but your kids will get punished and your kids kids will get punished. North Korea is a dictatorship country and United states is a representative democracy. USA has laws that north koreans cant do or they will get a death penalty. USA can believe  in any god they want.
