Olympic speech
----------------------------------------
Did you know the Olympics are held every 4 years? giving athletes qualifying for the Olympics 1460 days to train for the event imagine training every day for 4 years for the Olympic event this would be tiring but is necessary if athletes do want to attend the event and compete for their country
---------------------------------------
Hear ye hear ye everyone the Olympics originated in Athens Greece in 1896 and on this day i will talk about how the Olympics brings others together forming peace between one another
---------------------------------------
I am here today to addressing the Olympics not bringing others/nations together i will highlight the 3 main issues: why they do make nations/others become closer, teaches people about cultures, motivating people to train and attend the Olympics
---------------------------------------
Firstly: The Olympics teaches people about others cultures doing this makes some interested in their culture which then bring both the cultured and uncultured together to understand one another better and this will cause countries (cultured and uncultured) to support another even in losing the Olympics itself...
--------------------------------------
Secondly: Motivates others to get involved into Olympic styled sports outside of the Olympics itself and these motivated people might even for fill their dream by going to the Olympics because the Olympics games motivated them doing this gives their country a chance to attend the Olympics to watch their country sportsman compete
--------------------------------------
Finally: Debt and urban areas can be avoided by deconstructing the Olympic stadium or area that has been used for the Olympics this will avoid these areas being left to rot and to sometime collapse destroying the surrounding area and the urban areas can be avoided by building the Olympic area in a open areas this will avoid debt and destroying urban areas
---------------------------------------
I myself have never seen any country doubt one another for losing the Olympics they show their support to the losers of the Olympics
---------------------------------------
Thank you all for listening to my speech about the Olympics making peace now its your turn to make peace just as the Olympics does
---------------------------------------

Did you know that the first modern Olympics were held in Greece in 1896 with only 5 sports? and in 2020 we will have 36 sports.
Hello my fellow citizens my name is Martin Francis and now let’s go back in time to see why the Olympics is a good idea.

I will be discussing how the Olympics brings countries together, how the Olympics brings harmony and how the Olympics gives people hope to get better at sports.

Firstly, I've never been to Greece but instead of me going to Greece for the Olympics, the Olympics have come to me. I met a lot of friendly, caring and cheerful people who always cheer for the winners even if it's not their country. This shows that the Olympics doesn't bring conflict but brings countries together showing sportsmanship.

Secondly, the Olympics brings harmony because countries stop fighting and watch/participate in the Olympics which creates respect for the other countries even if they lose. The Olympics brings 9 million people together whereas war creates death, destruction and poverty for at least 2 million people in the world. Would you believe me if I said that the Olympics is the saviour of humanity.!

Lastly, the Olympics gives determination to people to do sports and get fit so they can enter the Olympics next year.

“The Olympics are an event that few can fathom but all can enjoy, and that’s why athletes work our whole lives to put on the greatest show on Earth.” And that’s why I am the greatest gold medallist in everything.

Now today, ladies and gentlemen, I am going to talk about why I believe the Olympics are a good thing and it brings nations together.

Firstly, it’s a fact once every leap year the Olympics are aired TV and if you watch the events you’ll see the amount of honour, love and respect that each nation brings together which makes it like pure magic that feels like friendly conflict with one another.

In 2012 during the London Games millions upon millions across the globe travelled to London to watch the Olympic Games.

Every Nation that wins the bid to host the Olympic Games puts their nation on the map.

The first Modern Olympics started in 1896 and since then it has influenced the idea of many nations competing with each other and bringing them together.

Secondly, the Olympics creates a lot influence towards young eyes as they watch the events and it inspires them to quite possibly becoming an athlete themselves when they’re older helping our next generations grow fit and healthy. Look at Usain Bolt for example he is a Gold Medallist and inspires many people to take on Athletics.

Thirdly, like I said earlier the event is full of respect for the other players; when somebody loses the games they still earn the love and sympathy from their opponents and the crowd watching them. Let me give you another example you can root for another nation even if they’re not yours I mean when Usain Bolt is performing and there are two British people in his race I would like to see Bolt win.
