As I have previously used Pinterest searching for and organising posts was quite easy. The main feature I love about Pinterest is the personalisation of the app and its algorithm. Once you show a pattern of photos you like it updates your "Browse" page and even suggests what folder to sort the photos into. 
 
 I had previously never used Pocket but found it very easy to navigate and populate the account. Like Pinterest, it follows an algorithm to give the user personalised recommendations based on their saved items. Unlike Pinterest, it does not provide a constant stream of new content when the user get bored of its curated content. I found it difficult to get new ideas once I’d had a look at the ones presented to me. I especially found the Discover and Home pages very repetitive and not as quick to pick up my tastes for the algorithm as quickly as Pinterest does. 
 
Personally I preferred Pinterest. As someone who appreciates things being organised into categories, being able to sort Pinterest posts into folders such as "Travel ideas", "Nail Inspo" and "Motivation". It's a great way to keep all of your ideas in one place as well as acting as almost vision boards for plans and goals.

Not only does it have the advantage of being free but it also offers step-by-step guidance on how to record, edit, and upload your video. The quick upload to YouTube option was very handy as it brought me straight to the channel I was posting to. As i had not previously made a YouTube account, Screencast O'Matic provided a link with a guide on how to create a channel. It has many representation options as well as guides throughout the process of creation. 
I struggled in the beginning with mapping my data as I later found out my dataset was too large. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong and the site did not give any helpful indications to the issue. It was only once i pasted the data into Excel that I realised the problem.
However, once I knew what had gone wrong it was easily remedied and I could continue making my visualisation. 
I loved playing around and trying out the different display options and found the pre-set text boxes for titles, descriptions, links, etc really helpful.

I used the app Canva and started with a blank infographic. The videos provided combined with my previous experience navigating the app helped tremendously in this task. I enjoyed being able to play around with different elements and colour schemes until I found the vibe that best reflects me. I wanted the infographic to be eye-catching but not too in your face so I chose to use muted tones and simple text. I found creating a LinkedIn profile very straightforward after watching the various guides, tips and tricks. Building a profile and adding experiences allowed me to see more specified profile that may correlate to my current interests and career choices. I used Canva to create a banner that showed my personal interests and populated my account with my experiences. I Creating a CV on LinkedIn was very easy as all you have to do it type in your details and it organises it all for you.
