Post a solution to a problem on a Google doc and attach the doc when you create an assignment.. (make a copy for each student.) Students have to create what they think could have been the original question to the problem.

Post a "would you rather" problem as an QUESTION.  Create problems involving time, quantities, money, etc., where students have to use computational and reasoning skills to solve the problem.

For example, Would you rather be given 60% of 2 pizzas or 20% of 5 pizzas? Students have to justify their answer. Once they submit their answer, they will be able to see their classmates answers and post replies to each other. Here is a template. Create a Google drawing with a prompt at the top and attach in Google Classroom so that students receive their own copy. Have students create a drawing that represents the number using the shape, line and other tools. Here are two examples: division, decimals. You can give them a few examples.. but let them explore and be creative. Challenge them to create their own drawing problems to share with the class.
