         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Active learning</strong>: The student participating in class and course activities engages learning by thinking, discussing, doing and creating. <br><strong>Read case studies/applying learned situations to practice</strong>: Students will complete case studies with active participation and receptive knowledge in order to take what is learned and apply it in their clinical practice. <br><strong>Receptive to coaching/learning/willing to listen</strong>: As the student, one will build themself throughout the program on guidance from faculty and staff, as well as constructive criticism through skills and experience.<br>(Billings &amp; Halstead, 2020).<br>(Murray et al., 2019).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Model proper behaviors/ways</strong>: Faculty strive to guide strong nurses into our world of healthcare. Throughout your time in our program, you will be transitioning from a novice student to a proficient future nurse and our faculty will help facilitate this growth through active learning. <br><strong>Write case studies</strong>: case studies provide students with scenarios in which they can begin to think about their understanding and solutions to problems found in real-world situations.<br><strong>Assign instructor/master nurse/DEU</strong>: With clinical experience throughout the program, the faculty arrange for you to spend time within the healthcare field at hospitals, clinics and within the community. These experiences facilitate the transition between student and professional, working nurse. Students will get to experience what it's actually like on the job and see if it aligns with their interests before committing to a specific nursing focus or clinical setting.<br>(Billings &amp; Halstead, 2020).<br>(Murray et al., 2019).</div>]]></description>
