It is very disappointing and concerning that, we are also the reason why the majority of the bodies of water that surrounds Metro Manila Remain polluted. Pollution is the negative effect brought about by urbanization, population growth, and climate change. Not everyone has access to clean water up to this day. Our lawmakers have forgotten about the importance of having clean and accessible water for everyone. We fail to shine a light on this predicament because we are privileged to be living comfortable lives and we are not the ones who are vulnerable to this issue. Clean water is very important because contaminated water can cause diseases.

The main issue here is within the Filipino people themselves because all they do is blame the government for every problem that they encounter yet they fail to check on themselves and think of ways how they could contribute how to make the world a better place to live in not only today but also for future generations.  Mayors, LGUs, or Local Government Units continue to deploy cleaning projects, yes we can all agree that for a moment that specific area will be clean. However, the problem here is how long will it last. As leaders, they should come up with concrete solutions in order to alleviate these issues that their city has encountered.  Our country needs proper waste disposal, and water treatment plants.
