Record of Achievements - can be requested at any time

Progress Report - can be requested after IA/OTJ/IP

Transcript - similar to a progress report except results are already endorsed

NOTE Pusat Pekerjaan Brunei (PPB) accepts progress reports.

What makes a good photo for CVs

Passport-size photo with a white or blue background: make sure it is cropped to size around your chest and an inch above your head
Dress in business smart or business casual.
If you are wearing glasses, make sure:
1. It is clear and clean.
2. They sit properly on the bridge of your nose
If you are taking the shot yourself, make sure the camera is at your eye level

CV Preparation Reminder

These days, employers increasingly prefer ATS-friendly CVs. This means your CV should be simple, clearly structured, and easy for recruitment systems to read. Do not use tables or text boxes, as these may prevent the system from reading your information correctly. You should also avoid photographs, decorative graphics, multiple columns, or excessive colours.

You may use the attached checklist as a guide when preparing or updating your CV. The content is generally consistent with what you learned in ACIE during your first semester.

Students are encouraged to update their CV:

at the end of every semester throughout their studies; and
every six months after graduation, or whenever there is a significant change in qualifications, skills, training, or work experience.

For further guidance, you may seek advice from your respective Group Leader (GL), Programme Leader (PL), or the SBC Career Guidance Coordinator. As of January 2026, the coordinator is Cg Hanis from MIB.
