Getting Hot without Getting Mad

Penulis menceritakan kisah Wright Brothers (Pemula Rangka Kapal Terbang) yang sentiasa bertelagah dan bergaduh. Pertelagahan yang berlaku selalu perihal "why he was right and why other was wrong", Secara ringkasnya penulis memberikan point tentang 'task conflict dan relationship conflict'. dalam apa jua pertembungan idea, logika dan segala bentuk cadangan, jangan sampai kita bawa ke relationship conflict.

chapter 5 — Tawba (repent)

one of the greatest gifts god has given us is the practice of tawba. Tawba literally means to return. Tawba is a hopeful reminder that our everlasting spirits cannot be irreparably stained by our mortal actions or words.

In this chapter, i learn that forgiveness actually comes when Allah loves you. He is the one who guides our heart to seek His forgiveness, and asking for forgiveness is not something we should be ashamed of but something that allah expects from His beloved servants. We should not only seek His forgiveness for committing sins, but also for making gods of our desires, reputation, envy, money, fame or other's opinions.

— Lastly, (my fav line) "tawba makes room for the blessings that Allah has already written for us to experience"

a really good book if we want to venture to the world of data science, machine learning, data analytics and artificial intelligence. the author brought a story kind of writing style in explaining the complexity of data science, machine learning, data analytics and Ai. reading it make us feel fun and enjoy. while initially the topic is hard in nature because it requires extensive knowledge in math, analytics etc. but the author succeeded in liquifying the big idea to a small chuncks that common people can understand and apply in their daily lives.

I read new chapter tonight titled why aren't my prayers being answered?

This topic is so much near to me because obviously we make dua every single day. Sometimes the dua is being answered right away and sometimes the what we pray comes later, or sometime we didn't even realize that our prayers is being answered by Him but maybe in a different POV.

When I read this, I love the fact that the author highlighted about people always confused about things they ask to Allah is it a mean to be near to Allah or we use Allah to get our means. We see that the dunya (powers, money, spouse, good job career) as our end in life & Allah is the means that we use to get there. In the end we get disappointed when what we ask didn't come to us.

I hope we can always improve how we make dua, how we make our prayers. Is it true that we ask things to be nearer to Him or we only came to Him whenever we face hardship or we want to ask for what we what. In the end, our ultimate objective of Dua itself is to build our connection to Allah because He is the only end for us :)

Ianya bergantung kepada how we see things. Ataupun dalam bahasa melayunya pandangan alam kita.

Pandangan alam kita/how we see things sangat berbeza setiap orang.
