This is a Japanese casual pasta restaurant. As a new employee, I was acquainted with colleagues and know well the menu and layout of the restaurant. After that, I’ve to set the clock in and clock out number to certify that I’ve work at that day.
To welcome customer, we need to say the Japanese word: "I RA SYA I MA SE", it's meant "welcome". This purpose is to treat the customer like friend. 
As a waitress, I have to serve customers and clean up the plate that used by customers.

My manager teach me the function of the computer screen. This is because the order is sent to kitchen and bar automatic by the printer machine. Therefore we need to know will the function of the printer to avoid the emergency situation occurred like the paper no out from the printer after we place the order by computer.
If the case occurred, we have to check back the problem of printer machine if the problem cannot be settled, we need to send the order to kitchen manually.
After enter the order to computer, I have to serve the food to customer.

After all the thing finished set up, I may have a break if no customer yet.
The break time for today was from 1pm to 4pm.

Around 2pm, I have received a call from customer reservation for 6pm later and 8 person will come. Therefore, I have to arrange the table for the customer and let other staff know the tables were reserved. 
I have to call back to the customer around 5.45pm to confirm the reservation, remind them and tell them we will hold their tables for 15 minutes, if late then 15 minutes, we will assume that customer cancel the reservation.

Today is a busy day because we have add another way for customer to order our food, called Grabfood. 
My manager will teach us how the Grabfood machine run and how to key in the item into computer. Because the menu on Grabfood is different with our normal menu, we need to know well the name of the dishes and avoid to key wrong item in computer.
We have to make sure what we key in is same with the Grabfood machine, to avoid the complain from customer.
Besides, we have to make the Grabfood order first compare with dine in. This is because the waiting time for Grabfood is around 15 minutes.
I have requested to do the order of Grabfood after  my manager teach. 
I have to make sure the item is same with the bill stated when I pack the food and then pass the food to the Grabfood driver.
I able to run the order of Grabfood after I done once.

I will speak to regular customers and talk with them if not pick hour. 
There was nice if talk to regular customer. This is because they will share the interest story or thing and something valuable to me.
I can learn a lot of thing from them and the valuable will accompany with me in my whole live.
Besides, the most important reason that I like to talk with them is they treat my like family. I appreciate that.
