I layer my colours to make my shadows distinct but still blends well. I can improve on adding more variation to the colours I layer for each different part and texture so the shadows look more natural and give more contrast.

I tried to learn and implement techniques in my drawings and I did kind of ok. Average at best. I need to include a foreground and background more in my drawings. In many of my drawings, not much shadow is seen and a lot of the shadings are still not well developed, I need to learn how to shade more properly.

-Adding light and shadows to my artwork and drawing it 3D instead of 2D to give more depth

the mediums : color pencils and markers allowed me to create vivid colors in my drawings symbolizing the bright and transformative growth.

i used cross hatching and blending to create even more depth in my artworks
i could further manipulate the size of my drawings to bring attention and focus to my drawings with deeper meanings

i used cross hatching to emphasize the dimension of my chicken drumstick and fork.

YEA i think (especially for the leaf) the colour pencils worked not so bad
Would have chosen more variety like watercolour or charcoal to enhance the details and outline

yes as colour pencil allows my strokes to be visible and soft so I can create the texture of fur easily
I would stick to the same medium as it is also easy to control and blend when i need to add depth

I watched and tried to learn the different techniques of shading to help further enhance the depth of the drawings. Only the tree and lamp had some middle ground to it as I used hatching or cross-hatching. I could have certainly improved in my depth for the other artworks, even more changing the perspective to deepen the subject with the background.

The medium did very well in conveying the certain amounts of freedom & change for the drawings
I would stick w/ the chosen medium but may work around it differently to achieve a higher effect in my artwork

-Yes, I think the use of markers helped made the colours pop more and the use of liner pens helped made it more illustrative

-I would stick with the same mediums, I like the style that the markers with the liner pens have when used

I initially chose pencil and charcoals with the mindset of really committing to the shading to add that depth. I wanted to try to achieve a certain composition but it was not that easy to do. I would and should change the medium, especially to add colours in my artworks as I lack it. I struggle with colour blending and shading since I starting drawing. I cannot seem to get it right but still try to make it work. I will try to recap about it and find solutions. I believe that colour in artworks empowers more meaning and depth rather than plain old black and white, but that was what I worked with when I started drawing at young.
