First four influences

The U.S government was inspired by everything above because they were all great starting points. The code of Hammurabi was the first influence because it was the first idea of a rule of laws and punishments people have to follow which inspired the amendments in the U.S constitution. The Magna Carta finished the code of hammurabi by saying everyone is subject to the law including the king and in our nation the president and all people that work in government. The Mayflower Compact influenced government by being the first from of democracy by creating their own laws and rules in order to survive and thrive. Thomas Hobbes inspired the idea that all forms of government have the right to overthrow another government and that is the basic idea of the declaration of independence. All of these ideas work very well and by establishing them in our own Government, the United Sates has become one of the most powerful and greatest nations in the history of the planet. We have many rights and freedoms other countries do not and that is why so many people want to come to live in the United States. It may also be the reason alot of other countries dislike us.

The Four Last influences had have a big in the US Constitution. Like Rule of law Make all people in power accountable to the law. The Baron of Montesquieu made the authority of state divide into legislative, executive and judicial powers. The English Bill of Rights made it where the people have the power, this means that laws couldn't be made or gotten rid of without permission of the people, No taxes could be made without the consent of the people, it gave people the freedom of speech, during trails there has be a jury of their peers, and it gave protection from cruel and unusual punishment. John Locke was one of Thomas Jefferson biggest influences. John believed that all men were created equal and believed in a social contract between the government and the people in which if the government breaks it the people have the right to create new government to protect there rights.
