I had a very different experience today. I learned about different lives, I learned to respect time and family and to live each day of life. I got to know what aging is and what kind of services this retirement residence provides. My goal was to experience something different and to know about our senior citizen lifestyle and their life experiences. I think I achieved it.

Today I visited The carriage house retirement residence and met people there. It was an amazing experience to hear about their life experiences and services provided by this retirement residence.

I also heard a heart touching sad story of a couple who are staying here because their children do not want to take care of them. They said they like here because staff really take care of them but they still wants to see love, warmth, care and affection in their children's eyes for them.

This place also offers various fitness and recreational programs. Like exercises classes, walking club, physio, yoga, movie, picnic and recreational activities like crafts, paintings, music etc.

Here they provide all health care services to the needed level of care. They provide nursing staff 24 hours for any emergency care. lso they provide assisted daily living, personal laundry, medication arrangement, dietary advice and special diets upon request.
