    • The genres of this book are memoir and autobiography 
    • What makes this a “good” story? (You will have to define a “good” story) 
    A good story is one that which a reader can put themselves in a character's shoes and connect to their lives. Stories of abuse and eating, now being a more talked conversation, is something that a lot of people can relate to. Lots of women can connect to eating disorders, not that men can't, because of the way society sets expectations on our bodies that we need to meet. 
    • How has this text enriched you as a person? (i.e. provided joy, taught you a lesson, made you connect, made you question, etc.)
    I feel this book taught me important lessons about putting myself first and being able to say no. Obviously, this is an extreme case of abuse, but can be relatable because of how relationships can evolve and become toxic if you're not able to set healthy boundaries.
