Jumana Musa: Though my feelings did not exactly change, watching the video allowed me to contemplate a few of the problems that face gifted students. Though they might appear minor, lack of proper handling of these situations can lead to serious long-lasting effects for the students involved; be it loss of valuable time, development of disinterest in the academic world, or increase in disciplinary problems. It would be easy to "dismiss" a gifted student as a mature, intelligent person who does not need the teacher as much as the other students. However, it is important to remember that though her/his needs might be different, they are still needs, and should not be ignored simply because they are different from those of other students.

First of all I feel proup of these pupils, because they try to hold out a great problems they faced in thier different classes according to the video.

My feeling didn't change among these pupils, exactly the contrary I am more ADMIRED now for these pupils.

I will be very happy if I find 2 or more talanted pupils in my classes.

Gifted pupils can do more than the others. They have the ability to achieve and to finish tasks before everyone else which makes them feel bored and sometimes they don't pay attention. So, after watching this video I think the teacher should understand the needs of gifted students in the class and should always vary the activities and the question types to encourage all the pupils to think deeper and to keep them concentrated

After watching the video, I've become more aware of some difficulties gifted students face in regular classes. They feel extremely bored most of the time because they know more than other students. They also feel stressed and distracted. Consequently, I see that differentiation is a necessary first step if only to meet gifted students' needs and help them overcome the problems they have in regular classrooms.

Now I have a clear vision and extra information about those pupils. So we should take in our consideration their needs ,problems , and try to help them to overcome and solve these difficulties in order to feel in the society like other normal children. because they have the ability to achieve whatever they want .

It is clear to me that now I have to watch for gifted pupils. I always thought that they didn't need me at all. Now I know that the teacher has a great role in encouraging the pupil to be their best .

I always believed that the gifted pupil didn't need the teacher so there was no need to take them into consideration when planning a lesson. Now I know that they are just as important as any other pupil in my class and that they need to be motivated just like other pupils.

After watching the video , I am now aware that gifted pupils have special needs the same like weak pupils. It is not enough to treat them like other pupils , on the contrary, you should give them your full attention.

I think the video is very interesting. It informs us as teachers the way they live whether inside or outside school and the pressure they face. I believe it is an oppurtuniy to spot them in your class and build this kind of cooperation/coordination so to make your class more effective and fruitful.

Before I watch this video I thought that talented pupils did not need more attention by teachers, because they have the potential and the ability to do tasks with less care. But now, my point of view changes completely, because we as teachers have to understand their needs and they need our encouragement to make them feel that they exist in class. i�� \u

The video adds to my information things on the nature of gifted and talented learners. As they say that there are challenges but it seems that they have ways to overcome these. These learners I believe need support and we can give it to them.

I didn't change my feelings. I know that the needs of gifted and talented pupils are different from other students. So, I usually encourage them. Also, I always try to find something interesting for them in my lessons.

Watching the video widened my horizons about the difficulties that gifted pupils face in regular classrooms of mixed abilities. They feel bored, stressed and sometimes distracted. Thus meeting their needs is a very important issue if only to keep them concentrated.
