-       Is to maintain something at a certain level, but always in a good rate. Everything has a sustainability, how much does it support, it`s good or not? Sustainability is to improve human well, ecological environment.

-       I don’t consider myself an ecological person, I`m not very interested in those themes, however I am yes worried about future generations, our community is not a sustainable one, since people really don´t see the reality of these problem each time these is becoming worst. When I see trash on the street, I don´t pick it but I will never throw trash to a place isn’t the trash can.

What can yo do or your community to contribute sustainability? 
-  Working together everything is better, we can make campaigns who consist on picking garbage each Saturday to clean our streets and feel cleaner.

Sustainability in my own words-Sustainability for me means to take care of our environment and ourselves by finding ways to pollute and contaminate less the planet that we live in.

Do you think you contribute to making your community a sustainable one? I try to make my community a sustainable one as often as i can. When i have the chance i recycle and reuse things that i use at my house. Also when i have the chance i try to do carpools or go with other friends in their car to avoid pollution the environment with gasoline. Also whenever i get the chance i pick up trash that i see in the streets.

What could you or people in your community do to contribute to sustainability. There are many ways that we can contribute to sustainability as a community, for example:
- using the school bus or car pools to avoid polluting with gasoline
- using cloth bags instead of plastic bags when you go grocery shopping (or reusing the plastic ones)
- picking up trash that you might stumble upon even if it is not yours
-use the recycling bins that are found at our school
-not throwing trash out the window of the car (even if its just leftover crumbs of something you ate)
-use the back and the front of a paper instead of wasting 2
-don't mistreat plants by stepping or pulling not hem, instead water them

For me, sustainability is the way that people around the world need to survive and live throughout. I think sustainability is the prevention of contamination and of things that can affect our lives in a negative way.

 

Yes, I try to have everything clean and to not waste food. I try my best to turn off the light when I’m not using it and as well with the air conditioner. 

 

To contribute in sustainability, we need to take care about our world. One of the examples to help sustainability is by reducing the use cars by making a more effective route so there are less travels during the day. Also, one thing that is very important is to plant a tree in your house so we can reduce contamination and make the world more sustainable.

Sustainability is the study of how the natural systems function. It produces everything it needs for the ecology to remain in balance. It is the need to develop the sustainable models necessary for both, human rance and planet earth to survive. 

There are 3 pillars of sustainability:

 -economic development: providing motive for businesses and other organizations to adhere to sustainability guidelines beyond their normal

 -social development: awareness of and legislation protection of the health of people from pollution and other harmful activities

 -environmental protection: what we need to do to protect the environment

For me sustainability means to protect our natural environment, human and ecological health while innovating and using technology of the future. It is taking care of the earth for today and the future. 

I thought I didn’t contribute to sustainability at all but now that I research about it I realized that I do. I recycle paper, try to use less the car, save energy by having the lights off when I’m not using it and many little things that I thought it didn’t helped but little by little it does make a change.

What society can make to contribute to sustainability is separating the trash in inorganic and organic, recycle stuff all the time, use carpooling to school instead of each one bringing their cars, saving energy by turning off the lights. Taking care of the earth for our children to have a good place to live in.

The definition of “sustainability” according www.environmentalscience.org is the study of how natural systems function. It refers to the need to develop the sustainable models necessary for both the human race and planet Earth to “survive”.

Sustainability for me taking care of the environment. It is a way to not affect the earth thinking about the future generations. It is all about taking action, include reuse, reduce and recycle to a daily life.

I think in some way I do contribute to sustainability because I do like to reuse, reduce and recycle and I try to make implement it in my daily life. Besides that I don’t think I make a “change” to help our environment. 

People in our community including me can help/contribute to sustainability by keeping us inform about the consequences of not having a clean environment will lead to. We can include the three Rs in our daily life, we can use water carefully and we can do so much more to help.

Sustainability for me is the creation of different methods to support the earth in general. Such as new renewable energy and resources. It really means alot to me since I want to protect my planet in any way possible. 

Yes i believe so. I try to throw the trash I see on the streets to preferably the nearest “green” trash-can. Also, I try to use organic materials for my work and school and I protect water when I shower.

I believe we can help this planet by using cars less and promote the bicycle for short distance trips. We can also take care of the water by showering quickly and with efficiency. In addition, we can also recycle our home materials and prevent using damaging to the ozone layer devices such as Lysol.

If people really take seriously this previous details, I think we can create a safe and healthy environment in our planet, and making it a better place to live. The change starts with every single one of us, and later on the change will be spread. 

According to MIT, sustainability is the idea that economic, environmental, societal and personal systems need to be balanced and regenerative in order to pursue prosperous life for the people in the future.

For me, sustainability refers to the actions and practices that we can do nowadays in order to maintain an ecological balance, while thinking of the consequences of our future.

Yes, I do, since I save energy whenever I can and I try to prevent contaminating the atmosphere by putting the trash where it belongs and by doing carpool rides to decrease the usage of cars, but I still believe that I can do more.

I believe that in order to contribute to sustainability, people, first of all, need to be conscious of everything that’s going on in the environment in order to make a change. Once that is done, people need to start saving water and energy. And besides this, something really helpful is to recycle and to try and cut the use of the car or other automobiles that pollute our environment.

I am part of the Chipinque community, the community improves the park to be cleaner and help other people to do the same. Sustainability means to crate new ways to take care/help the environment. There are different ways to help the environment, such as renewable energy but other ways we can all help are with the basic ways of helping on a regular day which are recycling and reusing.

 

After reading more about what substantiality is I found out that I contribute in my community without even noticing it. I not only reuse my plastic bottles buy I also recycle them instead of throwing them away. I also have different trash cans at home where we separate: Plastic, paper and glass so in some way we can help the environment even if it’s just a little.

 

What we can all do to contribute to sustainability is recycling and reusing to create less waste. Also by using less cars, doing carpools to create a safer environment for the future. And lastly by saving energy by not using all the light in our houses when they are not being used.

For me, sustainability means to protect our environment and keep it in the best conditions, at the same time creating new things that can help in the planet that keep the order of reusing reducing and recycling, in this way the future generations will be able to enjoy a healthy planet and not a super contaminated and polluted one.

Yes, I really keep in mind not to waste so much water for example when I shower, I try to be as fast as possible. Also by always turning the lights off whenever I leave a room. In recycling, I try to recycle the bottles of water that I have on my house and at the Tec since there are recycling trash cans I use them correctly.

What could you, or people in your community do to contribute to sustainability?

Recycling most of all, while being at the Tec putting the trash can in the recycling trash cans correctly, start recycling also in our homes. Another good idea is to make carpools, cars really pollute so many people make carpools for many things like going to prepa or going to a party.

    I think I someehat contribute in my community’s sutainability, but not enough though. I cooperate by recycling plastic (PET) and paper, and I try to keep trash in its place.

Not really, I personally do not contribute to a sustainable society, I would really like to be able to participate but in a city like ours, it is very complicated, we live in an industrial city and having a sustainable environment is very hard.

 

            The hardest part of contributing to sustainability, in my opinion, is changing your routines and what you do everyday. Sustainability would complicate things to many people and another of the hardest parts in contributing is convincing other people to take part in it. But there are many ways to contribute, such as using natural light throughout the day instead of artificial light. Doing carpools for school and work and simply placing trash in the proper recycling bins. People are simply lazy and careless, that is why transitioning our community to a sustainable one is basically impossible if it is not implemented on the new generations.

3. Yes, I think it’s not too hard to help make the community sustainable we just need the support of our government.

Also, my Dad is a member of a company that produce a type of turbines, that produce energy with natural gas, this turbines are sell to big companies that need to pay a lot of money for light.

What is sustainability for me: It is being able to support yourself without harming the environment, to make changes in your life in order to live better within what surrounds you.

I think I contribute a little bit because I own a house with solar panels, which create solar energy in order for me to use instead of actual energy, so I use natural light to power up my house, but that isn’t enough, I could do more.

We could buy organic food and stop using pesticides on food, instead of using fuel powered cars, using a bike to  transport ourselves, or at least, using electric power cars.
