I have learned about the topic Bulletin Boards that there are several advantages of it and how as a professor we can harness trough bulletin boards the class would be more engaging and interactive. As a future professor we can star learning how a bulletin board should be in order to become good teacher, so at the end I was able to undertand its functions, types, and how to involve the students in the bulletin board.

The problems that I faced during the activity developed in cass about Bulletin Boards were about the reading comprehension in order to create a summary and gather the most important imformation. Thinking critically is a little bit difficult but is not imposible.

To overcame the problems that I faced in the activity I had to read twice and think critically focused on the details.

At the end, I learned about the importance of it, the benefits, how to create an interactive bulletin board an so on. Thinking comprehensively helped me understand better the topics and gather the most relevant information in order to sumarize the articles and present a very nice activity.

On September 25th, we were working in the material and the videos on youtube about the use of padlet and how to create a QR Code. This code allow professors and students send and study material easily, so is a very useful educational tool. I created my QR code and after that I posted it on moodle in order to acomplish the assignment which is part of activities in class.

What did I learn?

I learned how to create a QR code and how to share it. Also I learned how to share a padlet board and set it public in order to show as public. Is very important stablish these settings because padlet requires it. Finally, at the end of the class I learned a lot thanks to professor Lily by her explanation about Palet, because her knowledge about it is so good, and we can realized of it.

What problems did I face with in class or activity developed?

The problems that I faced were mostly about the QR code and how to share it on moodle. Because if we dowload it, it would be a fake QR. If the QR code does not open with the QR reader, we won't get any point in the task.

The first idea that came to my mind was to test the QR code before submitting the assignment in Moodle. After testing the QR code, I made sure the link worked. The following idea was given by Professor Lily. The idea was to send the QR code to another classmate so that they could see whether it opened or not.

On October 2nd, we were learning and working on this interesting topic about Task 6 - Student`s Reflection Board using padlet. I really enjoyed developing this fascinating topic because it will allow me to adquire the knowledge and the skills as a technological teacher, so I am really interested and how to harness and aproach this amazing tool.

I learned many different things such as how to set up a bookshelf in padlet because padlet is more friendly to organize the material on paths. I learned from the professor Lily and her explanation how to take it as an advantage because this kind of tool is useful and funny. As a future teacher we have to pay attention to everything that the professor explains in class. Because if we do not, we won't be able to teach students in the new generation of technologies.

The problems that most of us have probably had when using Padlet is the limited access to creating routes and boards. It is difficult especially when we have to create more routes or boards and Padlet does not allow us to do so. The limited access is due to payment, so if we pay, it will be better with all the features and functions.

To overcame this problem about payment of padlet our professor Lily had an idea. The idea was create another padlet account with a personal e-mail in order to create more paths or boards. The idea is perfectly good at it. Our professor always has great ideas, so we have to learn from her knowledge and experience as a professional. 🙂📚✏️📝📒📓

We were organizing the different groups and watching the video related to the padlet that we chose. The different layouts were divided random and based on the specify loyout we were working on. Each group must orally present the chosen topic and highlight the most important and relevant aspects of it.

The problems that I faced while developing the activity were the instructions and the leadership because one of my group members was criticizing the work we developed, arguing about what I did even though that person did not review the instructions carefully on the platform while I did it.

I learned trough the different speech that each padlet layout helps us work collaboratively with our classmates and in the future work with our student. Allowing a virtual environment where students and professor can aproach to the material and information published in the padlet layout. The teaching and learning process requires innovation, that is why we have to manage this amazing tool. In the future I will be able to work collaboratively with my dear students.

The problems that I had when developing this task were with the instructions because one of the members of my group told me that I don't know how to work in a team and that I am authoritarian. I don't think so, because I was working on Padlet and they created the presentation in Canva. We worked collaboratively in the Teams meeting.

We were working on the compliment board. The activity consisted of writing a compliment to the student we evaluated in the co-working evaluation. In my case this person was Marcelina and I wrote her a very nice compliment to highlight her effort during her performance at the last oral presentation.

What did I learn?

I learned that giving someone a compliment is necessary because it helps them keep working. Compliments are a good way or strategy to keep students motivated. Also, recognition allows students to work better because it motivates them to give more and go beyond.

During the activity the problem that I faced was the time because this activity was squeduled with a specific period time. After the time was up, the compliment board was frozen. Also, another problem that I had was the internet because I sent the compliment but it did not appear on the board.

To overcome these problems, I had to work quickly and rewrite the compliment until it appeared on the compliment board. Sometimes we have to take problems as an advantage instead of a difficulty.
