To assess the chance of chromosomal anomalies, some of which are not compatible with live birth. Gives women the opportunity to choose whether to have the test and be offered further counselling or tests if a positive result is found<br>3. In order to determine the baby's position and assess/ prepare for possible risks/ special care needed during birth. </div>]]></description>
