This curriculum is interesting in letting the students determine their own goals for their IEP. With teaching elementary students, having them be a part of their IEP is huge to me. Once I get that figured out, I would like to investigate this curriculum a little more and modifying it to be towards elementary students.

In the elementary level, we do morning work activities to get the students brains thinking. Sometimes we will do a journaling activity and sometimes we do a think about it activity where they will think about something and then share it with everyone else if they would like. I found these which are great for self-awareness and goal setting. They are directed more towards high school students, but can be modified for our elementary students.
