It's biggest mountain range is sliabh bán (white mountain in Irish). It's the 11th biggest county in Ireland.

There are many GYMS AND SPORTING facilities catering for all ages. There are many activites for adults and children to do in Roscommon town. It is not very busy and is clean. Crime rates are very low.

Greetings from Roscommon  today I am going to tell you a few fun facts about Roscommon town .
There is a castle in Roscommon town and it is called Roscommon Castle. There is a playground and a lake near that area. 
There is three playgrounds in Roscommon.

 There was a famous warrior called St. Coman and there is a church a graveyard and a handball alley named after him. 
My school is called Gaelscoil de hÍde Roscomáin named after the first president of Ireland Douglas Hyde and he is also named after the home pitch that Roscommon GAA play in it s called The Hyde.
In our school there is a basketball court and a playground.

It is a traditional market town with markets taking place on a Friday. There is a hospital, a courthouse, a police station, an old jail, a castle ruin, an old abbey and a graveyard.
We also have a leisure centre, football pitches and a gym. We have a beautiful park where I love to brun around and feed the ducks.
