Many do not get settled because they do not have the financial means. Conflicts often arise between children and parents due to financial insolvency when children leave home and most are taken into custody by the Ukrainian police. All this is influenced by the child`s psychological ailments as well as the fact that they can not yet provide for themselves.
    The program "Children of Ukraine" was created which helped to solve varios difficulties of teeenagers first of all it is homelessness and crime.Also, special seminars on sexual education of adolescents were held even in educational institutions. They have a fear of poverty and start working part-time. Friendship is very important for teenagers. They want to share problems and good times with friends. 
Disagreements from time to time lead to conflicts between teenagers and parents.  After all, teenagers want to be independent of parental restrictions. It happens that teenagers leave their homes. Many teenagers are taken into custody for vagrancy.  The main problems for "street" children are drug addiction, alcoholism and prostitution. The national program "Children of Ukraine" has developed measures to prevent homelessness and crime by reforming education.  Special courses are held for young people on the prevention of AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases. There are centers of social and psychological assistance in educational institutions. A number of teenagers are characterized by impulsive behavior ,rudeness, aggressiveness and settlement of conflicts through violence. They are also characterized by the need for money. Many of them have part time work. Family atmosphere and friendship are very important. These are finally factors in the formation of a teenager. Due to conflicts with their parents, teenagers run away from home, become homeless or criminals. Also dangerous during this period are drug and tobacco addiction, toxicomania, alcoholism and prostitution.
There is a national program that helps teenagers. There are also many special rehabilitation centers, various seminars, and youth-oriented articles on the Internet and magazines. But this work requires further development and practical state support.

In fact, the problems worrying teenagers reflect the problems of a society going through a transitional period. According to the survey  a number of teenagers are characterized by feeling a growing need to defend themselves, impulsive behaviour, rudeness, aggressiveness and settlement of conflicts through violence. Typical problems of teenagers are lack of recognition in the family,  lack of support, difficulties in establishing contact, loneliness. Family problems like parents' divorcing, a death in the family or violence in the home tell on teenagers. They have all possible arguments with their parents. Now and then the arguments come down to conflicts between the teenager's desire to be independent of restrictions and the parents' right to control them. The major threats for 'street' children, apart from criminal activity, are drug and tobacco addiction, toxicomania, alcoholism and prostitution. The national programme "Children of Ukraine" helps young people to realize their potential in life, to set goals and to make friendships with positive peers. 
    Centres for social and psychological rehabilitation are organized at educational establishments for teenagers as well as for their parents.
There are also youth - oriented programmes and talk shows on TV, that give the young people an opportunity to share their problems, find possible solutions.

Young people in Ukraine face many chalenges. In fact,this problems  reflect the problem of a society.The survey shows that young people experience fear of poverty,some even say that they are losing hope for education. Typical problems of teenagers are lack of support ,loneliness. Friendship is of greate importance to teenagers. They wish to have trustworthy friends not only to share good times ,but also problems. Family problems like parent's divorcing,a death in the family or violence in the home tell on teenagers.
Only in 1996 around 12,000 teenagers were taken into custody for vagrancy and beggining. There is national programme " Children of Ukraine",the aim of this programme is to help young people to realize their potential,to set goals and to make friendship with positive peers. Work with teenagers it is important to find ways to involve young people into different projects and programme intented to adress their problems. Young people are constantly worried about their future. Poverty, unemployment, increased materialism in relationships worry every teenager. These are early works and the reasons for postponing marriage. As a result, the stumbling block with success in school. Also, due to financial problems, teenagers become rude, emotional, and conflicted. Faithful friends become important for young people. Adolescents are affected by family problems, such as disputes, divorce, death, violence. Teenagers want to be independent of their parents, so they leave them. Later, they fall into bad company. Alcohol, drugs, smoking and prostitution are special problems.
       Ukraine has a different policy of combating homeless children. Known as «Children of Ukraine», where they help to realize their life potential, the bus of trust, where you can talk about AIDS. They also hold various seminars, teachers' talks with children, talk shows and websites. On the positive side, the state does not abandon these children
