Sometimes I’m confused / challenged being an art teacher and know there are skills that I want the students to gain, but also combine with other skills for an overall project. What to do with those ‘mini lessons’ that may not be the main focus, but are also a component that is typically re-taught or at very minimum revisited - do they count as mini lessons and then the project is the ‘unit’? Is it ok if the skills are not necessarily related specifically to each other?
