Verse 1:

Let it go,
Let it roll right off your shoulder
Don’t you know
The hardest part is over?
Let it in
Let your clarity define you
In the end
We will only just remember how it feels

Chorus:

Our lives are made
In these small hours
These little wonders
These twist and turns of fate
Time falls away
But these small hours
These small hours still remain

The song “Little Wonders” by Rob Thomas describes how life’s little moments make it all worth while. Thomas sings lines such as "these little wonders still remain" in the repeated chorus to emphasize that even the smallest things linger through your life. This supports the Transcendentalist Movement by singing about taking in all the little things that make up a wonderful world, and everything around you is important despite appearances. In the first verse Rob Thomas says to let it all go and to leave the troubles in the past which is on board with the transcendental idea of living in the moment. Transcendentalists preach about not mulling over past events or you will miss the beauty and life of the present moments.

Transcendentalists like Henry David Thoreau constantly discuss the importance of being an individual and not conforming to societal norms. Lovato embraces that idea by saying she will do what she wants no matter what people say is the “normal” thing to do. She just wants to be her own person and "wear [her] Converse with [her] dress" as stated in Lovato's second verse. Demi Lovato, in her earlier years of music, sang about following your heart and doing what you know s best for you. She encompasses that huge aspect of nonconformity and following your inner desires.

Emerson is saying that you are not what society makes you or what others tell you are; you are who you want to be. Emerson wants each individual to use their mind and intelligence to shape their own character and person for themselves.

Transcendentalists like Henry David Thoreau speak about not just being but living. Bon Jovi really puts that concept into light with this song. He says "it's my life, it's now or never" and how he’s going to live while he’s alive just like Thoreau says many times in his work “Walden”. Living in the now is an important concept that is often lost in today's world and Bon Jovi assists in the redevelopment of that idea in the minds of the twenty-first century population.

The article titled "The Importance of Self-Reliance" was written by Christopher Bergland and explains reasons why relying on oneself is the most important idea of transcendentalism. The article lists five different reasons to support the Emerson inspired theme of self-reliance. Transcendentalists like Ralph Waldo Emerson would support Bergland’s five points because they explain that self-reliance strengthens your mind, body and spirit. Bergland also states in his fifth paragraph that self-reliance is “also about maintaining close-knit human bonds” and relationships can still exist through this transcendentalist theme.

The “Concept of Pantheism” podcast is all about the religion called Pantheism. Rodman R. Clayson talks about the belief that God exists in everything within the universe. Transcendentalists believe in Pantheism because God is all around us and guiding us in our lives and leading us to a better future. Though this podcast was developed in the 1950's, it planted the seed of pantheism in that era of time because radio was a main form of entertainment and was widespread (mainly because the internet had not been created yet). Thanks to today's technologies, this podcast continues to share the God is everywhere lesson and emphasize the beauty around us.

Writer Zorka Hereford wrote the article titled “How to Think for Yourself”. She writes all about how making your own thoughts and ideas is essential to a happy and full life. Transcendentalists would agree with Hereford’s writing because they understand that in order to reach your ideal self, one has to reject the ideas of society and accept/follow their own paths. Hereford put it simply by writing "know who you are, what you want and what is best for you" in her tips on how to think for yourself.

Through the use of personification, Dickinson really emphasizes how nature is so under appreciated and gorgeous. Transcendentalists would appreciate this poem due to their rooted belief in nature's powers. In her sixth stanza, Dickinson writes, "her [mother nature's] golden finger on her lip,
Wills silence everywhere" to close with the image of a peaceful world calmed by a rich, beautiful mother nature. Nature brings peace and humility to all things.
