Khayalethu works well in a group setting, takes turns and listens respectfully to his friends’ ideas. He is developing good emotional awareness and can express his feelings clearly. He handles most situations calmly and responds positively to guidance when challenges arise. His cheerful nature and growing confidence make our classroom a happy and welcoming place.

Khayalethu enjoys participating in physical activities and follows movement instructions well. He can balance, stretch and use his body with increasing confidence and accuracy. He shows an awareness of how his body works and uses space appropriately during activities.

He participates enthusiastically in outdoor play and group games, showing confidence when running, jumping and climbing. His love for soccer has helped strengthen his coordination, teamwork, and endurance. Khayalethu continues to develop his overall body strength and agility, displaying enjoyment and determination in every physical challenge.

Khayalethu has made good progress in his oral development . He speaks with growing confidence and clarity when expressing his thoughts and ideas. His vocabulary has expanded and he is able to use complete sentences when speaking. Khayalethu enjoys participating in class discussions and has become more confident in sharing his opinions and answering questions.

He listens attentively to others and responds appropriately, showing respect and understanding during conversations. Khayalethu can follow verbal instructions and retell familiar stories in sequence. He is learning to use appropriate tone, volume and expression when speaking. I am very proud of how confidently Khayalethu presents during show and tell, using a clear and expressive voice. His growing self-assurance and enthusiasm make his presentations a joy to listen to.

Khayalethu has made excellent progress. He confidently recognises and sounds out letters and can blend and understand long vowel sounds. He demonstrates a clear understanding of digraph sounds and can apply this knowledge when writing familiar words.

Khayalethu is able to write familiar CVC words without copying them and shows growing independence in his writing tasks. He takes pride in his work and enjoys drawing pictures to support his written ideas. His letter formation and spacing have improved, and he is learning to use capital letters and full stops correctly.

His enthusiasm, confidence and commitment to learning have contributed greatly to his success. I am very proud of his progress and the wonderful effort he has shown throughout the year.

He enjoys shared reading activities and listens attentively to stories, showing good understanding when discussing the main ideas or predicting what might happen next. Khayalethu uses picture cues effectively to support his reading and can recall key details from familiar texts. Khayalethu’s reading confidence and comprehension have improved significantly. He takes pride in his reading progress and enjoys engaging with books in class. I am very proud of his achievements and the enthusiasm he shows for reading.

Khayalethu has made excellent progress this year. He demonstrates a good understanding of number concepts and can confidently identify, read and write numbers up to 100. He can count forwards and backwards and skip count in 2s, 5s and 10s. Khayalethu recognises and writes number names up to 20 with confidence.

He can solve simple addition and subtraction problems using various strategies and shows a clear understanding of number bonds. Khayalethu confidently identifies greater than and less than values and can compare quantities accurately. He has also grasped graph concepts and is able to interpret simple data displays effectively.

Khayalethu can identify and describe 2D and 3D shapes, recognise patterns in sequences and understands measurement concepts such as length, weight and capacity. He uses appropriate mathematical language when explaining his thinking and enjoys applying mathematical ideas to real-life situations. Khayalethu has achieved all mathematical outcomes for his age group. His curiosity, determination and growing confidence in mathematics are admirable. I am very proud of his effort, progress and positive attitude towards learning.

Khayalethu is a kind and friendly boy who has shown steady growth and maturity throughout the year. Although he can be shy at times, he has become more confident in expressing himself and participating in class activities. He is always helpful towards his teachers and classmates, showing care and consideration for others.

Khayalethu approaches tasks with a positive attitude and gives his best effort in all that he does. His gentle nature and willingness to assist make him a valued member of the class.
