In this depiction, the death looks almost peaceful and there is not much blood showing at all. The woman standing there with knife is his assassin. She is not depicted in the other painting at all. Here Mary is giving Jesus a bottle of what looks to be poison. I think it is interesting to see how different Banksy's art is compared to how images of Mary and Jesus are usually shown. Her work is intriguing to me because it represents realistic and imaginative components. The strong eye painted by the artist gives a fierce energy to the art piece. I wanted to share this piece because I believe the way she does her paintings using human bodies as her canvases is a unique way to express art.
