Regular or irregular pulses of music is caused by the occurrence of strong and weak melodic and harmonic beats, making a pattern aka rhythm.
2. One of the reasons why we relate so much to rhythm and that rhythm is familiar to us is because rhythm is very prevalent in human biology. Our hearts beat rhythmically, and we wake and sleep to circadian rhythms.
3. Rhythm is an indispensable element of music. Rhythm can exist without melody but melody cannot exist without rhythm.

It is directed by a series of directions such as allegro (fast) and largo (slow). Tempo is marked usually by a metronome
2. Music can change tempo throughout the piece, where some parts are played faster than others. Rubato (slightly speeding up and then slowing down) can also be found in some music
3. Tempo helps to convey feelings in music, for example fast tempo means exciting, and slow tempo means relaxing. It can help the composer convey feelings of intensity of relaxation

Melody is a tune, forming part of a larger piece of music, and is the succession of single tones in musical composition. the interesting facts are that it is like a combination of pitch and rhythm. It has various pitches and they can be sang, or played on instruments such as guitars or pianos. Stringing a series of notes that catch your ear when you listen to it can give you a melody. A melody can show conjunct movements, with slow changes of pitch. Composers can give their songs a range which is like a “leap”. A melody is important as it’s the part of the song that the audience remembers the most. Sequences of notes that compromise melody are musically satisfying and often the most memorable part of the song.

Form refers to the structure of the composition or piece.

Some common music forms are Strophic (AAA), Ternary(ABA) and Binary(AB), which can be classified as Simple Binary and Rounded Binary. Strophic form is usually used in nursery rhymes such as ‘Mary had a little lamb’ or folk songs such as ‘The wheels on the bus’ as the melody is repetitive. In simple Binary, the melody will usually end in its dominant(5th note) eg. C major- G major. Ternary usually ends with the same melody as the start (ABA) and might sound slightly different in terms of tempo or rhythm. The middle will usually be contrasting compared to the start and end, and all parts of the songs will end on a perfect cadence to Ensure maximum closure.

It is important in a music piece as without it,the music might sound messy and disorganised compared to a composition with form.

1. Harmony is when a combination of individual music , notes or tones are simultaneously played together. For example the flute player may be playing one note, the violinist plays a different note, and the guitarist plays another different note. But when their individual parts are heard together, harmony is created.

2. The word “ harmony “comes from the Greek harmonia meaning "to join things up" Harmony was also formed in about 1600 based on the Pythagoras theorem to make music sound better .
3. For the purpose of definitions, the important fact is the notes sounding at the same time. Harmony is the most emphasized and most highly developed element in Western music, and can be the subject of an entire course on music theory.

Basic Definition:

According to Wikipedia, in music, harmony is the process by which the composition of individual sounds, or superpositions of sounds, is analysed by hearing. In simple terms, harmony is basically the pleasant sound you hear when two or more musical notes are played/sung at the same time.

Importance:

Without harmony in music, you would only hear the main melody with no accompaniment/background sounds. Harmony is needed when a musical piece ‘has more than one layers’, synchronising all the instruments and sounds. For example, when one instrument is playing the main melody of a peaceful song, the accompaniment cannot be too loud or too rough.

Fun Facts :D

In ancient times, harmony referred to the entire melody/piece and music referred to the art in general.

Definition of rhythm: Rhythm basically is different patterns of different notes with varying pauses and long notes.
Interesting fact: There are 5 types of rhythms, which include random rhythms (meaning the pauses or lengths of notes in the rhythm is very irregular, or “hard to predict”), regular rhythms (it’s just a loop of the same sequence of pauses and lengths of notes, opposite of random rhythms), alternating rhythms(alternate between two different rhythms to make one rhythm), flowing rhythms (repeated waves and curves in the notes), and progressive rhythms (one characteristic is changed while the rhythm repeats)
Why rhythm is important: Without rhythm in music, songs will not have that “groove” you usually feel when hearing music

1. Musical form has two meanings, the first meaning is the kind of composition and the second meaning is the shape of the music and how it is planned.

2. The basic principles can be discerned from a brief consideration of melody, which may be defined as an organized succession of musical tones. This succession of tones consists of component parts, structural units, the principal of which is the phrase—a complete musical utterance, roughly corresponding to what can be sung or played in one breath or played with a single stroke of the bow.

3. It is important because the structure holds the music (the music relies on it). Without musical form, the piece would be chaotic and messy.
