The Thinking Brain and the Reactive Brain
Once info is sent to the brain, it’s routed to the prefrontal cortex or the automatic brain. When your stressed by negative emotions, you’re more likely to have less control when info enters your brain. When your interested in a topic and not stressed, the info goes into your thinking brain, but when your emotions are negative, your brain filters the info into the reactive brain, sometimes leading you to make bad choices.
