Theme: The World

The theme of my library would be something along the lines of 'the world', 'travel' or 'global cultures'. For me, a library has always been a place of imaginary escape and refuge - a place where one can be transported to magical or faraway places. Even with the new changes being implemented in LLC, I believe this theme to still be relevant. Students can connected to anyone in the world at their fingertips, and these skills are invaluable for them as they grow older. Being a global citizen means showing compassion and empathy for people of all backgrounds, and I want this to be represented in my LLC.
