         <description><![CDATA[<div>At the turn of the 20th century, one of the most influential Pictorialist groups was the Photo-Secession, founded in New York City in 1902 by photographer Alfred Stieglitz. Stieglitz opened the Little Galleries of the Photo-Secession popularly known as “291” after its address on Fifth Avenue which exhibited the work of Modernist painters and sculptors as well as that of photographers who used a wide variety of printing processes, including bromoil printing. </div>]]></description>
