1. Tolerance means to allow something to happen

2. JEDI CODE--

-There is no emotion, There is peace

-There is no ignorance, there is knowledge

-There is no passion, there is serenity

-There is no death, there is the force

3. The quote means that the Jedi are trying to tolerate peace within the world without their fellow warriors not letting their emotions get to them because if they do, they could become a Sith, which means that they will go completely bad, and that means they are with the dark side of the force.

4. I think tolerance is very important to me because it shows you care for yourself and for other people.

1. Tolerance means: a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one's own; freedom from bigotry.

2. Wilbert E. Scheer has
identified tolerance as "the oil that takes the friction out of life."

3. This quote compares how humanity works to an engine. Without the grease, the parts don't work together and are in conflict with each other. Tolerance is like that oil, helping people to get along. When people are loving towards others, regardless of their religious, cultural, and racial differences, it enables humanity to function in unison without having "break downs."

4. I think that tolerance is very important to be able to function in a society as diverse as ours. We need tolerance just to make it between classes in the hallway. Let's all strive to be welcoming and kind to everyone, regardless of differences.
