Coconut water is enjoyed in tropical countries, but what makes it special in India is how it's deeply connected to the daily life and culture in coastal regions like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In other countries, coconut water might be processed and sold in bottles, but in India, it’s consumed fresh, straight from the coconut. This natural, unprocessed approach adds to its authenticity. Drinking coconut water is not just about hydration it’s tied to the rhythm of life in coastal communities, where people rely on it for both refreshment and health benefits, especially in the hot and humid climate. In India, coconuts also have cultural and religious significance, making coconut water more than just a drink; it’s part of a larger tradition.

Field Hockey is the national sport of India and holds a place of pride in the history books. The country gained much popularity worldwide with its domination of field hockey throughout the early and mid-20th century, especially in the Olympics. Indian hockey legends led the national team to numerous wins, most specially in the Olympic Games from 1928 to 1956 under the captainship of Dhyan Chand. The game is still predominantly played across the country, predominantly in states like Punjab and Odisha. Why it's special: Field hockey is special because of the unprecedented success of India in the sport, especially on the international stage. It was a source of pride when India won gold medals at a time when the country was still developing its identity on the global stage. Though overshadowed by cricket's popularity today, field hockey continues to inspire athletes and remains a symbol of India's rich sporting heritage.

Kabaddi is a traditional Indian sport, which is both thrilling and fast-paced, finding its way across the world. It consists of two teams of seven players who take turns attacking and defending. A player, known as the "raider," is sent into the other team's territory to touch other players and then return to his side in one breath, chanting "kabaddi." When that happens, the tagged players are considered out. The sport requires the overall combination of physical strengths, agility, and quick thinking. What makes Kabaddi so special is that it requires no equipment, such as a ball, and that all the focus is on the skills of the players in the forms of speed, strategy, and teamwork. The tempo of the game is fast-moving with intense physical contact. Players need to be quick, strong, and tactical. It teaches teamwork, discipline, and how to plan attacks or defend. While kabaddi is an internationally known sport with professional leagues, it is deeply attached to the culture and tradition of Indians, being widely played in schools, villages, and community events. The simplicity of the sport combined with the thrill and teamwork involved makes it unique and enjoyable.

The tabla is a pair of hand played drums and is one of the most important percussion instruments in Indian music. It consists of two drums: the smaller, higher-pitched dayan and the larger, bass-heavy bayan. Together, they create a wide range of sounds, from deep, booming tones to sharp, crisp beats. The tabla is widely used in classical, folk, and even modern fusion music. What makes the tabla special is its versatility and the precision required in playing it. The complex rhythms and patterns played on the tabla form the very core of Indian classical music and often reflect the creativity and skill of the performer.

how Sitar sound like:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7u-c-mIKUJw
