It was the last battle led by Napoeleon against the British empire. Britain invested a lot of resources and people to win against France. 

The first british settlers arrive in South Africa after the Napoleonic wars.That’s why the British immigration rose in Africa.

Meanwhile the British empire also tried to expand in the Middle East but it was a complete disaster.  The East Indian company drove the expansion of the British empire in Asia and was an important corporation for trade between Asia and Britan. 

Till 1914 the british empire had a territory from about 10.000.000 square miles and 400 million people were added to the british empire.
