(+) Motivation for project was really high since we worked with a real client (it felt like the advice was actually a real advice for a real company that really might take the advice into consideration)

Block 2

POSITIVES: In general, the block was very motivating as it was also a competition, so we had a few goals to achieve.
We were asked for high quality as we were working for an actual client which was great practice.
The project coaching was extremely clear and helpful. Most times it was more clarifying that seminars and general lectures.
It was a very exciting and creative block. I am very happy with it overall.
NEGATIVES: I didn't feel the seminars achieved to depict the theory and we mostly had to rely on project hours and our own learning.
The mock exam was way too easy unlike the actual exam. I believe the preparation should always be harder that the actual exam (or at least with the same level).
A very, very negative thing I experienced was the exam itself. It was the first time we were doing a computer-based exam and there was NO ONE from the observers who spoke English. It was extremely frustrating and unpleasant. I don't understand why in an English course, the exam explanations would be in Dutch. It makes no sense and it made me very uncomfortable. By the end of the exam I had a technical problem which no one could help me with because they spoke no English. It turns out I figured it out but until I received my grade I wasn't sure if I didn't do something wrong which caused too much unnecessary stress.

- HRM

The HRM is unnecessary since every student just does it for the sake of it and it's not helping us at all. A oral ACC meeting would be more helpful to discuss goals etc.

Addition:

I totally agree with the negative exam experience ! The mock exam wasn’t a good representation of the actual exam. Furthermore, it was very distracting that we received the results for the first part right after submitting it.

I agree with the negative experience with the exam observers. I asked how to submit a part of my exam, but I was not done yet. The observer had no idea, so I had to figure out myself. Another negative experience was that one of the observers hit my chair constantly, so I was more frustrated then concentrated.

The mock exams are supposed to be a preview or an example of the type of questions that will be asked during the exam.

This mock exam was way too easy for the level of difficulty we actually encountered in the exam. It had little to absolutely no comparison to the actual questions about research and ICC, and focused almost exclusively on Marketing. It also had no questions about what was covered in the lectures, which did appear consistently during the fucking exam. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The meme assignment is a joke for tools class. I expected to learn photography in a serious manner, as well as photoshop in a hopefully useful way for the future. However, by making the assignment a MEME as a way of creating engagement with the students, you basically disregarded all the seriousness of the classes.

ESPECIALLY WITH A 2010 MEME. how dumb was that assignment, bye.
