My reactions to the idea that people see things differently based on their perspective is that it is very true and like in one of the examples she said dieters see apples much bigger because they’re counting calories. I agree with this since I do eat apples but also I try to avoid them most of the times since they contain more calories and find other alternatives.

"Keep your eyes on the prize" means to focus only on the finish line rather than the minor, unnecessary things around it. In order to get your prize, you will have to face several complications but you can't let them be a setback, you have to move on. You know what your goal is and make your way towards it without losing motivation or focus. I do think this strategy would work for me because once I put my mind to something, I try to achieve it at all cost.

I found the talk really interesting, I got to learn a lot from it. I understood how people's perception towards something, affects the way they live their lives. My affective prize would be my goal body shape. I would be more motivated to work towards having the body type I always wanted. After listening to the talk, I will follow the strategy of "keep your eyes on the prize." I think it is a great strategy and it would work effectively on me.
