The aim of this series of photos is to visualise textural elements. By opting for a black and white image, the distraction of colour is not allowed, so attention is focused on the texture alone. What's more, zooming in on the image forces the imagination, as the subject is not fully recognisable (at least if the title is not mentioned).

The aim of this photo is to make the ephemeral permanent while focusing attention on the lamp reflected in each bubble; the grapefruit breaks up this redundant pattern while adding an organic texture. The whole resembling the cells of an organism.
