Weakens behavior.&nbsp; Punishment&nbsp;<br>The floor automatically electrifies and shocks the rat, so the rat accidently pulls the lever, so the rat learns to pull the leaver to stop itself being electrified. This strengthens behaviour. Negative reinforcement&nbsp;<br>if the rats accidently presses the lever it will get a treat, so rat learns to press lever again, positively reinforced with treats.
