We shall be looking at our natural resources like forests, wild-life, water, coal and petroleum and see what are the issues at stake in deciding how these resources are to be managed for sustainable development.
We often hear or read about environmental problems. These are often
global-level problems and we feel helpless to make any changes. There
are international laws and regulations, and then there are our own
national laws and acts for environmental protection. There are also
national and international organizations working towards protecting our

WHAT IS NON- CONVENTIONAL SOURCES?
A: THE SOURCES OF ENERGY WHICH WE ARE NOT USING FROM ANCIENT MTIME & EVEN NOW WE ARE NOT ABLE TO EXTRACT IT EFFICIENTLY FROM NATURE

BUT THESE ALL RESOURCES ARE EXPENSIVE TOO.

SO THEREFORE IN INDIA, IT HAS NOT BEEN USED EFFICIENTLY LIKE OTHER COUNTRIES

FOR EXAMPLE: IN INDIA THE USE OF ELECTRIC CARS ARE LESS BECAUSE IN OUR ALL OVER COUNTRY ROADS ARE ALSO NOT IN GOOD CONDITION TO DRIVE SMART CARS LIKE TESLA. BUT! NOT ONLY THE INFRASTRUCTURE MATTERS. International standards for regulating the emission of carbon dioxide are based on the Kyoto protocol.
Negotiated in the 1990s in Japan it came in force by 2000s.
According to the Kyoto protocol, each and every country will seek to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, methane and other harmful gases in the environment.
Ways to control carbon dioxide emissions:
a) Purchase"green electricity".
b) Eat less red meat.
c) Make climate-conscious political decisions.
d) buy energy and water-efficient appliances.

Stakeholders of forests
if forest stakeholder is someone who uses forest resources one way or the other. They can be:
People who depend on forest resources and live in nearby forest areas
Government forest department who owns the forest land
Any company which uses forest resources for industrial purposes interest for nature and wildlife conservation.
the people who stay nearby forest grounds use firewood, that and small Timber from the forest. Bamboo is used in making huts and basket for collecting food.
forest are also treated as hunting and fishing sites and source of raw material for any industries. Before independence, the stakeholders were free to use forest resources. after the British took over access to forest resources was restricted only to forest dwellers.
