I can use planning for different scenarios such as essay's, case studies, or even everyday life. The biggest challenge was planning that's why its important to improve on it.
The reason I didn't improve on it at the time is because it was my first assignment, and I was not aware of how to start. It is crucial that I plan AS2 properly as I have been given the guidelines and even class tutorials.

During lectures we had been asked to created a reading matrix. 
The matrix was a guide mainly for us (students) because it helped us be able to paraphrase sentences within sentences. When writing my assignment and using someone else's information or evidence, it was very important to reflect on that. The reading matrix helped me be able to pick out a topic sentence and talk about it including citing it and link it to other groups of information. 

the reading matrix was great help but I would personally wouldn't use again for net assignment as it was too complicated to understand at first and also it just took too long. it needed to be very detailed and at the time I was not too sure what was being asked of me.

As I am not able to upload pictures, I will be just typing it out. 
one of the key terms to include in our assignment was defining key terms, wide view(general topic), and include references. Everything within the assignment has to link up to the main question which is to discuss the relationship between sociology and university.

I will be using NILE to do most of my research as it has most of the recent topics/articles. I will be using articles, journals, magazines etc.

Most importantly these notes have paved a way for me to structure my assignment. having applied the pyramid method, I can see my assignment starting to take shape.
