2. During lunch, Walter puts molasses all over his meat and vegetables which astonishes Scout. When Scout criticizes Walter, Calpurnia calls her into the kitchen where she scolded and slapped Scout. As Scout returns to the dining room Calpurnia tells her to be a better hostess.
3. Back at school, Miss Caroline becomes terrified when a tiny
bug, crawls out of Burris Ewell, who is even poorer and less respectable than the Cunningham clan.
