Something I learned In the artical that I read was that the trade for micah parsons to go to the green bay packers could actually be a win-win deal also for the Dallas cowboys according to the article but before I saw the article I thought there was no way the cowboys could win the trade but the reason they traded him was a contract issue so after all they didn't spend a ton of money and they got two first round picks so now they have 3 first round picks to help there team win in the long run and the money they didn't pay him they pay the rookies that they get.

something i learned in the artical is how alabama almost went down 10 spots in rankings just by losing to FSU. They aso talk about how the alabama football hasnt been the same since Nick Saban. Nick was a tough love kind of coach and he believed in giving people chances to prove themseleves with the toughness they have. With the new alabama they arent as aggressive to win and they look soft comapred to back then. The main idea of this text was to show and explain how alabama clearly isnt the same as they once were and it showed, losing to a team that went 2-10 last season.

for the sides i chose to read about the NFL player that attempted to help a drowning kid even though he couldn't swim himself. I personally enjoyed the story because i thought it had great meaning behind it and it was a very good thing to do. Although it wasnt the smartest thing to do he still attempted to help the kid out but came off short and unfortunately passed away. I liked it but it was very sad.

1. What I learned from the Radiohead Podcast was that Science relies so much on scoring and sound. Also it can be interesting and accessible for everyone. Radiohead podcasts offer diverse ways to engage with the band's music and history

I watched philips biopic he was a man of the sea he had two brothers and he was a very helpful guy he served as a bodyguard for two years. In London he had a career in the shipping business. It wasnt just a job for philip it was his way of live. I enjoyed this biopic because it seems like a chill way to live your life. Also he could speak many diffrent languages which made his life easy because he traveled to so many places. After all that travling he ended up in greenwich connecticut where he was a big part in the shipping community. In the end he had a wife for over 30 years and a strong connection to his kid and he was dedicated to his family.

Rose is a strong woman who during her teen years was living in bomb shelters , and struggling with saftey in her apartment because of war . Because of the turblance of those years her family expected it to leave a mark on her when shes older but the more she grew th better of a woman she was always so joyful , and postive. Rose had left to go to mass & when she did she fell inlove with john . Later on she had 2 kids with John and while she was 22 her father died. I enjoyed it just to see people who go through things and that insted of these things breaking them down its making them stronger.

I chose the video memoir about Joan who lived on a farm with her parents and brother. She grew up and had a connection with the land. She was in Ohio and had a son named randy with a guy she married when she was 17. She returned to Alabama where she was a secretary and a book keeper. She was also a single mother with the child from her first husband. Then she met Paul at a football game and they got married then had 3 kids Lyle, Leslie and Mark. She earned a bachelors and masters degree and began teaching. She love history and earned lots of other awards and important stuff in her career. She passed away on February 4th 2023 and had a legacy that passed down through generations. i enjoyed it because learning about peoples life is interesting and gets my attention.
