The story then narrates through her and Polly, and indentured girl. I really enjoyed reading this book and found it interesting all the way through. I would definitely consider this a really good read and would recommend this to a friend.

I really liked this book and thought it was super cute, but towards the end I felt it became more boring and less fun to read.

It explains what´s happening on Earth to her friends and family after she passes. Before reading the book, I had seen the movie that was made in 2006. She talks about what her life was like while living with her kidnappers and how she was treated. It's a true story, as the author is the one who experienced it. This book was definitely more mature than I'm used to, as it goes into graphic detail about what happened to her. As he meets new friends and teachers that help to influence and life, Charlie soon begins to become more mature and self aware of himself and the people around him. Finishing this book in 2 days, I would say this was definitely a good read. In her beginning months, her and Will did not get along at all. Their friendship soon began to blossom and they slowly fell in love with each other. Finding out shocking news about Will puts a bump in their relationship and leaves Louisa struggling to try and change his mind. I watched the movie first and thought the book was even better. The girls struggle to adapt to new lives to survive, but when they find out a surprising secret about the island, they must put their new found and previous skills to test. I really enjoyed this book because of how you get to really see the character development between the girls.
