         <description><![CDATA[<div>March 5th, 1770 a squad of British soldiers protecting a sentry were being pressed by a crowd, so the British opened fire on them. They killed three people immediately and two later died from injuries. The British officer in charge, Capt. Thomas Preston, along with eight of his men were arrested for manslaughter. They were all eventually acquitted.</div>]]></description>
